In 2014, I led the Engineering team at Careerify, a Toronto based startup, which we sold to LinkedIn. Since then, I have spent a few years building large scale AI products at LinkedIn in the Bay Area.
Over the years I have come to appreciate that building great software products require a combination of interdisciplinary skills ranging from technology and liberal arts. Some of the companies I admire such as Pixar, Apple and Basecamp are great examples of this.
